ליום מלאת לו שבעים שנה

ספר זכרון הוא פתוח

יובל זה חג השבעים שנה

יביע תהלות איש הרוח

מליץ טוב בעד כל נפש נענה

אלהי הרוחות שמו עטרת

נס ומופת אל רבים עמים

ולאחיו בני ברית צבי תפארת

ויהי גואלם בארצות וימים

אור כוכבו על ראשו עוד יהל

אף ינוב השיבה דשן ורענן 

להפרות ישע ועזובים לנהל

TRANSLATION OF ACROSTIC

Sing, Sons of the Covenant, sing loud of his worth,

In song and memorial, O tribute of earth

May full be thy measure this day of his birth,

On this his septuagenarian jubilee,

Now exalted by God in all lands, on the sea

Where as sign and as symbol, as a crown shineth he, 

O long may his works—his starlight, shine bright, 

Long may he flourish in high old age, a light.

Forever, a guiding star unto each Israelite.
